The Earth

The earth is the third planet away from the sun, and it is the eight largest planets. It is the only place in the Universe where life exists, home to millions of species, including humans. It has water in abundance. It turns around the sun every 365.25 days.

It is sometimes referred to as the Blue Planet or the World.

The Solar System

The solar system is composed of nine planets of different nature and sizes. The Sun is the nearest star and source of the energy. The rest nineplanets are Mercury , Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The sun is in the middle and all the planets rotate around it in a relatively circular orbit. Our planet earth is thus far the only planet that life is found, scientists has been trying to discover life on other planets but thus far have not been successful.
